Jashwin with her son — a warm, everyday moment
About

Hi, I'm Jashwin.

I'm originally from Fiji and now live in Auckland, New Zealand — mum to a wonderful little boy named Silas.

For nearly ten years, I loved my work as a radiographer. But after becoming a single mum, I realised the life I wanted for my son no longer matched the life my job allowed me to live.

Today, every decision I make starts with one quiet question: Will this give me more time with Silas? That single question is the heart of everything you'll find here.

A simple why
“I'm not building a business away from my son — I'm building one around him.”

The quiet mornings, the school pick-ups, the ordinary in-between moments — those are the reasons I chose this path. Everything I share here is built to protect them.

Why Jashwin & Silas

The Heart Behind The Name.

Silas is my son. He is the reason I began, and the reason I keep going.

Every mum in our community understands that our children shape our choices. Naming this space after both of us is my way of honouring that — a small, daily reminder that this work exists to give us more time with the people we love.

My Journey

From Hospital Corridors To Home Offices.

A career I once loved

For years, I loved my work as a radiographer. But when I became a single mum, the shift-work rhythm no longer fit the life I wanted for my son.

A quiet search for something different

I wasn't looking for a shortcut. I was looking for a way to be more present — and to build a future that felt like mine.

Discovering online business

When I first came across online business, I was sceptical. I'd seen the loud, salesy corners of the internet, and none of it felt right. What changed things for me was finding people who taught with honesty and patience — no hype, just real skills learned in gentle steps.

Building confidence, one step at a time

Bit by bit, my confidence grew. I learned marketing, communication, and the mindset side of building something new. And slowly, I built a business that actually fits around family life.

Why I do this now

Today, I help other mums explore a path to building a flexible online business — with honest education, gentle guidance, and a supportive community. This is the resource I wish I'd had when I was starting out.

What I Believe

Three Things I Hold To Be True.

If these feel like yours too, you're in the right place.

01

Family comes first.

Every choice starts with the people I love — my son, and the life we're building together.

02

Business should fit around life.

Not the other way around. Flexibility isn't a bonus; it's the whole point.

03

Success doesn't require hype.

No pressure, no loud promises. Just honest learning, steady steps and quiet progress.

My Values

What I Hold Close.

These are the principles that guide how I show up — for my son, for our community, and for every mum who finds her way here.

Family first

Every decision starts with what's best for our children and our home life.

Honesty

No income promises, no exaggerations. Just what's real and what's possible.

Gentle guidance

Support that meets you where you are — never pushy, never rushed.

Integrity

Doing the right thing, especially when no one is watching.

Personal growth

Small, steady steps that build skills, confidence and self-belief.
